When standard pickup is not fast enough

Standard pickup runs 1 to 3 business days. Most people are fine with that. But when you need the car gone by tomorrow, expedited is the move. Job starts Monday, military PCS orders moved up, sold the car on Marketplace and the buyer is on a plane, dealer trade has to clear by end of week, that kind of thing.

Expedited works because we boost the rate we offer to the carrier. Drivers see the load on the board, see the better number, and bump it up their schedule. Same trucks, same insurance, same FMCSA carriers, just a faster slot.

We tell you upfront what the expedited premium is so there are no surprises. Usually $200 to $500 over the standard rate for next day pickup, less for 2 day. If a carrier cannot hit the date, we tell you before you commit, not after you have already paid.

When expedited makes sense

1

Military PCS

Orders moved up, family flying out Friday, need the car on a truck now. Active duty rates available on request.

2

Job relocation

Start date moved up. You need the car at your new place by next Friday.

3

Vehicle sale

Sold on Marketplace or Cars.com to an out-of-state buyer who paid and is waiting.

4

Dealer trade

Dealer-to-dealer trade has to clear by quarter end. Inventory cycles wait for nobody.

5

Auction wins

Just won at Copart, Manheim, or IAA and the storage clock is ticking on day-rate fees.

6

Snowbird flip

Heading south Friday and you need the car waiting in Florida when you land.

Standard vs expedited

Standard pickup

  • 1 to 3 business day window
  • Standard load board rate
  • Carrier slots you on existing route
  • Best for flexible timelines
  • Cheapest baseline rate

Expedited pickup

  • Next day or 2 day pickup
  • Priority rate posted on the board
  • Carrier reroutes or detours for you
  • Best for hard deadlines
  • Typical premium: $200 to $500

How expedited works

1

Tell us the deadline

Pickup by tomorrow, by Friday, or whatever the hard date is. We work backwards from there.

2

We post at premium

Your load goes on the live carrier board at a priority rate that wakes drivers up.

3

Carrier accepts

Usually within 1 to 4 hours. We send you the driver name, truck info, and dispatch sheet.

4

Fast pickup

Driver calls within hours, not days. Truck arrives at your address inside the expedited window.

Pro tips for expedited

Book early in the day

Lock the rate before noon and we have the entire afternoon to find a carrier for tomorrow's pickup. After 5pm, expect a 2 day window minimum.

Have the keys ready

Driver is going to roll up fast. Have the car cleaned out, photos taken, and keys in hand.

Flexible drop date helps

Tight pickup, flexible drop is way easier for carriers than tight on both ends.

Be reachable

The driver may call within 1 to 2 hours. Missed calls mean lost slots.

Honest condition report

If anything could give the driver second thoughts, like a fluid leak or dead battery, tell us before booking.

Premium does not stack

Expedited premium is a one-time bump. We do not surcharge again at pickup or delivery.
